Tyler obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School after completing an undergraduate degree (honours) in philosophy from York University. During his time at Osgoode, Tyler gained a variety of experience including securities litigation with the Investor Protection Clinic, human rights litigation at ARCH Disability Law Center, as well as international corporate transactional law with TianTai Law Firm (Beijing).
