This past month, de Vries Litigation lawyers and staff had the opportunity to volunteer for an evening at Toronto Lawyers Feed the Hungry. The organization provides four meals a week to guests. Dinners are served on Wednesdays and Fridays, and breakfasts on Thursday and Sunday.

Started in 1998, the program takes place in Osgoode Hall’s cafeteria at 130 Queen Street West in Toronto. The program is run with the help of volunteers, including lawyers, judges, law clerks, and law students. Volunteers help cook, serve, and clean up after meals.

The program helps provide over 100,000 meals a year and is funded by donations to the Law Society Foundation. For more information about the program, or to donate, click here.
